Mostafa Hassani

Mostafa Hassani joined the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell in 2019 after completing his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, and a postdoctoral appointment in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at MIT. His research interests include solid mechanics, materials under extreme conditions, solid-state additive manufacturing, constitutive modeling, mechanics of impact and indentation, deformation mechanisms, severe plastic deformation, coatings, and surface engineering.
